  • Day 1 – Arrive Hanoi

    You will be greeted at Hanoi Airport and transferred to the city for hotel check-in. Room is available from 14.00. The balance of the day is free at your leisure to stroll along the famous Old Quarter of 36 streets, take a walk around Hoan Kiem Lake vicinity on your own pace or just rest in the hotel and recover from jet-lag. Find some excellent Vietnamese foods for your own in this colorful cuisine. Night at the hotel

     

  • Day 2 - Hanoi sightseeing (B)

    The whole day is for the capital city. You will visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum for the first (closed on Monday and Friday), the traditional stilt house and the revered One-Pillar Pagoda  along the trip. The next destination is the thousand-year-old Temple of Literature – also Vietnam’s first university . After lunch, have a visit to the Ethnology Museum (closed on Monday), where you can explore the diverse and unique cultures of the 54-ethnic Vietnam. Evening is the time to enjoy Vietnam’s traditional water puppet shows. Choose nice local dishes for your own meals, and back to your hotel for overnight

    Remark : From 08 September to 08 November Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed for annual maintenance.

     

  • Day 3 - Hanoi - Halong Bay (B,L,D)

    Departure for Halong Bay (180km – 3.5 - 4 hour driving) to see a  fabulous World Heritage site recognized by UNESCO. More than 3,000 islands of towering limestone with different fantastic shapes, dotting the bay and Gulf of Tonkin. Board a beautiful boat when you arrive and have an overnight cruise on Halong Bay. Fresh seafood, which is one of factors to make Ha Long Bay famous, will be served for your lunch and dinner right on the boat. Have a good night on board !

     

  • Day 4 - Halong Bay – Hai Phong – Danang – Hoi An (B)

    Early morning is the best moment to enjoy the aquamarine water of the bay. Wake up early and after a tea break, we take a quiet cruise through amazing caves and strangely shaped islands hidden in the fog of the bay. In the late morning, back to Halong harbour and disembark, then after a brunch we will drive 2 hours (70km) Cat Bi Airport in Haiphong. If it’s not too late, take a short guided tour to explore some highlights including Hang Kenh Communal House and Du Hang Pagoda. On arrival in Danang city, our guide will transfer you to your hotel in Hoi An Town (30km - 45mins driving) for check in. Discover this unique cuisine here on your own. Night at the hotel.

     

  • Day 5 - Tra Que Vegetable - Hoi An Town (B,L)

    This morning will be spent for cycling through the countryside of Hoi An. Our destination is a small vegetable planting village near by Tra Que Lagoon’s bank (3 miles or 15mins cycling from Hoi An ;  you can choose to transfer by cyclo or by your individual vehicle). Few areas in Vietnam hold special aromatic herbs as Tra Que Village. You will have a good chance to join in daily farm work as a real native people. You can also be trained to cook some local delicatessen, “Tam Huu” for example  – a dish combining shrimps, pork and aromatic herbs.

    After your lunch, we will take our vehicles and go back to Hoi An. Spend your afternoon to stroll along Hoi An town, to understand why this town is recognized  as a World Heritage site by UNESCO, to feel the marvel that every other visitors felt when they look at all those unusually well-preserved ancient streets and homes. More than two-century-old Chinese houses that you can explore while walking through the quaint cobblestone streets of the town You cannot either ignore the Chinese Temple, Japanese Bridge and Phung Hung Chinese-style trading house.  Have a good dinner in the colorful and plentiful culinary world, one of the most attractive thing of Hoi An. Hope you get back to overnight at the hotel with satisfaction !


     

  • Day 6 - Hoi An - Danang, Cham Museum - Hue (B)

    You are free at leisure before take a 2.5-hour drive to Hue (130km) acrossing the Hai Van Pass, which is also a great scenic. From the pass, it is the perfect point for you to look out over the central coastline – an excellent panoramas in Vietnam. Then, continue our trip towards Da Nang and visit the Cham Museum upon arrival. The museum holds the largest collection of relics and sculptures from the Cham civilization (also known as Khmer civilization). En route, Lang Co beach will welcome your passing by with the quiet and long white sandy sight. Check in your hotel in Hue, and you’re free at leisure for the rest of the day. Find yourself some exquisite foods and spend your night at the hotel.

     

  • Day 7 - Hue Outskirt – Hue City sightseeing (B)

    We will arrange your morning to visit the handicraft villages in Hue. Cruising 30 minutes downstream the Perfume River on a local boat, you will reach Tien Non village. The take a 30-minute bike ride to visit the village of Thanh Tien, located along the Perfume River. Dating back to 400 years ago, this village has been well-known for its traditional handcraft production of paper flowers. Take pictures of their work and if you want, a craftsman will help you make your own creation of flowers.

    Continue our trip with a 30-minute walk to the Sinh village, well known as a center for paintings on wood. This traditional handicraft is worth spending our time to learn more, and trying to interact with the hospitable family of a local craftsman. Transfer by private vehicle in the early afternoon to the city centre.

    When you arrive at the city, take a guided tour of the citadel city to visit the Imperial Citadel. The refined and distinct atmosphere of the town will bring you a relaxing feeling. Wrap up your day with a visit to the famous Dong Ba Market to have a glimpse at daily local's life. The balance of day is free at your leisure. All meals are on your own. Overnight at the hotel. 

     

  • Day 8 - Hue Sightseeing - Ho Chi Minh City (B)

    Start our day with a visit to the Mausoleum of Tu Duc – one of the most beautiful imperial tombs in Hue. This tomb was constructed from 1864-1867 in purpose of a recreational area for the king, 16 years before his death it was created. You will also be told about the history of the Nguyen dynasty and the French colonial invasion.

    Finish the morning trip with discovering Vietnamese rules of geomancy, as we visit a typical garden house built exactly according to these rules. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere this place brings to you.

    Leave ancient Hue City behind and head straight to Ho Chi Minh City ("also called as Sai Gon") by a brief 1 hour afternoon flight. You will be met at the Ho Chi Minh Airport and transferred to the hotel for check-in. Have your own meals and overnight at the hotel.

     

  • Day 9 - Cu Chi Tunnels - Ho Chi Minh City Sightseeing (B)

    Leave the city in the morning to visit Cu Chi Tunnels. Vietnamese soldiers, and even people of all ages, together built that incredible tunnel network during the intense war against America. Back to Ho Chi Minh City before noon. After your own lunch, visit along historic landmarks including the Notre-Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office, and the ethnic Chinese district of Cho Lon, especially Binh Tay Market and Thien Hau Pagoda. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

     

  • Day 10 - Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta (B,L,D)

    In the morning, drive about 2.5 hours to Cai Thia Canal in Cai Be District. This is the starting point for your amazing excursion into deep Mekong Delta area, an excursion for photo lovers with full of great and exceptional opportunities. Then you will have chances to take part in many local’s familiar activities : crossing small canals and rivers on local ferries, take an 1 hour bike ride passing by local market, local church,a brick kiln, lush orchard gardens… on small lanes. Through those activities we hope you would have a great experience of the daily rhythm of life as well as of the peaceful atmosphere here. Along the trip, hold you steps at a local house to sample recent season’s unique fruits along with tea and honey (and local wine, as well). In the late morning, transfer by a boat to another local house for your pleasant lunch.

    When lunch time’s over, take a rowing boat trip along the small Cay Da canal and and go further to explore more about this area. At around 3.30pm, transfer  to your home-stay place in a local house where the whole family will spend the night here. After that, take this chance to visit their kitchen and even join them to prepare the dinner and be trained to cook some traditional dishes. Have dinner and overnight at the home-stay place.

     

  • Day 11 - Mekong Delta - Can Tho (B,L)

    After having breakfast at your home-stay place, walking under the cool shelter of the green canopy around the village will be a perfect experience of the fresh and pleasant air here. Our next destination is a floating catfish farm. After that, take a short bike ride to visit a local vegetable field. In the late morning, we drive to your hotel in Can Tho for check in. Lunch is served at a local restaurant. Take your time for a short rest, before taking a 2-hour bike ride through small roads of local villages, passing by a primary school, rice fields, local houses with lush fruit orchard. You are free for the balance of day to explore the Can Tho city more. Have your own dinner. Night at the hotel.

     

  • Day 12 - Cai Rang Floating Market - Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh City departure (B)

    From your hotel, transfer to Ninh Kieu Quay to board onto a traditional local boat and head to the lively, colorful floating markets of Cai Rang. The great diversity of products sold at the market will absolutely surprise you at the moment you come. You will not possible to take your eyes off the huge variety of fruits, from the familiar ones like bananas and mangos, to the strangest ones like the sweetened longans, the very fragrant durians or mangosteens and star apples. After the fruity flavors of the market have served you well, access the labyrinth of the channels and streams surrounding Can Tho. From the boat it will be very suitable to observe local’s daily life on the river, even to see children swimming

    Disembark in the late morning and transfer directly by private vehicle back to Ho Chi Minh Airport (170km - 2.5 hours driving) for your onward flight. Have really good last meals here. Put an end to our services here.
