  • Day 1 - Ho Chi Minh City arrival

    You will be greeted at Hue Airport upon your arrival. Afterwards transfer to Hue city where we check in the hotel. From 2 p.m, the room is available. You will be free at your leisure for the rest of the day. Enjoy good meals by yourself, and overnight at the hotel.

     

  • Day 2 - Cu Chi Tunnels - Ho Chi Minh City Sightseeing (B)

    Leave the city in the morning to visit Cu Chi Tunnels. Vietnamese soldiers, and even people of all ages, together built that incredible tunnel network during the intense war against America. Go back to Ho Chi Minh City to explore the most dynamic city of Vietnam. Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the late morning. Lunch on your own.

    In the afternoon, a visit along Ho Chi Minh city will be arranged. Many Vietnamese call this city "Sai Gon". It was once the former French colonial capital. There are historic sites you will come to visit including: the Old Post Office of Saigon, the Opera House, the Notre Dame Cathedral . Finish your day with a shopping at Ben Thanh market. Go out and have your own meals in the evening, then go back to the hotel for overnight.

     

  • Day 3 - Ho Chi Minh City – Cai Lay – Cai Be (B,L)

    This morning we drive 2.5 hours to Cai Lay (93km). On the way you will see fruit farms and lush rice paddies – typical landscapes of this region – emerging alongside the highway. End of the drive trip, a beautiful wooden boat will be waiting for you to cruise along and have a better view of river life and countryside landscapes. Then, disembark and take a short  bike ride (7km in total) over flat terrain along narrow village lanes to see peaceful simple life of the locals amongst cottage industries and fruit orchards. Stop at the home of a tropical-fruit planting farmer to see the rich of the orchard by taking a walk around and don’t miss this chance to sample fresh-picked fruits. Finish this day with a slowly cruising along tropical canals on a small sampan boat. Take your time and relax, before we transfer to Mekong Riverside resort for your relaxation. Have your own dinner and overnight at the hotel.

     

  • Day 4 - Cai Be floating market - Ho Chi Minh Airport - Hue (B)

    Wake up early in the morning to visit the Cai Be Floating Market. Take this chance to have a direct look at the Mekong Delta’s wholesale trade of local produce.
    Afterwards, take a visit to a village of traditional craft. Upon visiting an interesting workshop, you will observe how local specialty candies are made such as: honey, coconut candy, pop-corn, pop-rice and rice paper,..  while green tea and sweets are being served.
    Back to the boat and return to your resort. Free for the rest of time until we transfer to Ho Chi Minh City Airport for your evening flight to Hue city of centre Vietnam - a Heritage Site recognized by UNESCO. Our guide will be waiting for your at the airport to transfer you to the city for hotel check-in. Have your own meals here. Night at the hotel.

     

  • Day 5 - Hue sightseeing (B)

    This morning, take a tour of the citadel city and immerse in its refined and distinct atmosphere, as well as visit the Imperial Citadel. Afterwards, hop a boat and cruise along Perfume River for the Thien Mu Pagoda.

    The next destination for the afternoon is Minh Mang Tomb – one of the most beautiful tombs of Nguyen Dynasty. To finish your day trip, access a local famous market of Dong Ba to have a glance at local life. Find your own meals in this culinary capital of the centre Vietnam. Night at the hotel.

     

  • Day 6 - Hue surrounding (B,L)

    This morning you will get out of the city to the outskirts of Hue, to feel the peace of the countryside. Transfer by road towards a 500 years old village of Phuoc Tich. Having dozen of wooden houses lovely decorated with lush orchards or bonsai and flowers gardens, this village has become very famous. A very long time’s gone by, but these old houses have been stayed unchanged, almost perfectly the way it was. This village also has been producing ceramics for over 500 years. That traditional handicraft is one the factors to make it famous and attractive. In the late morning, return to Hue for lunch break and a short rest.

    In the afternoon, you will have a guided cycling tour through the village of Thuy Bieu. Take your time and look around to admire the simple beauty they got here: fruit tree orchards and vegetable gardens with many many other kind of species, rice fields, communal houses, primary schools, and a valley of cemeteries. Give a stop at a homemade incense producing household. Then you’ll see landscape is not the only thing here to admire and respect. You will meet the farmers who spend the whole day working very hard, but still always keep their smile and enthusiasm. As they are very friendly, along the way just feel easy to greet those you meet. Return to Hue before sunset. Have your own meals here and overnight at the hotel.

     

  • Day 7 - Hue - Danang - Cham Museum - Hoi An (B)

    Departure for Hoi An acrossing the Hai Van Pass, which is also a great scenic. From the pass, it is the perfect point for you to look out over the central coastline – an excellent panoramas in Vietnam. At your next stop, Lang Co beach will welcome you with the quiet and long white sandy sight. Then, continue our trip towards Da Nang and visit the Cham Museum upon arrival. The museum holds the largest collection of relics and sculptures from the Cham civilization (also known as Khmer civilization). In the afternoon, we will arrival Hoi An – a Heritage Site recognized by UNESCO. Check in at the hotel, find yourself some exquisite foods and spend your night at the hotel.

     

  • Day 8 - Hoi An Town (B)

    Spend your morning to stroll along Hoi An town, to understand why this town is recognized  as a World Heritage site by UNESCO, to feel the marvel that every other visitors felt when they look at all those unusually well-preserved ancient streets and homes. More than two-century-old Chinese houses that you can explore while walking through the quaint cobblestone streets of the town You cannot either ignore the Chinese Temple, Japanese Bridge and Phung Hung Chinese-style trading house. The balance of day is free at your leisure. Find yourself some souvenirs and have a good dinner in this colorful and plentiful culinary world, one of the most attractive thing of Hoi An. Hope you get back to overnight at the hotel with satisfaction !

     

  • Day 9 - Surrounding of Hoi An Town (B,L)

    Depart from the hotel to explore the surrounding of Hoi An. Hop a boat and you will have chances to see those fishers throw fishing net and trade their products – their daily works – as we cruise to the mouth of Thu Bon river. Then, after 30 minutes of cruising you will reach a fishing village. We will then discover a distinctive mangrove forest so it’s necessary to change to a smaller bamboo boat (a coracle). Adventuring in this mysterious forest with rarely the sunlight can shine the ground, let yourself be curious and excited to explore its interesting secrets. Along the excursion you can also approach activities of skilful fishermen working in the forest.

    Disembark in mid-morning and take a 20-minute bike ride through the countryside to Tra Que village (other choices of transferring are by cyclo or by private vehicle Few areas in Vietnam hold special aromatic herbs as Tra Que Village. Herbs such as mint and basil have special leaves: smaller than usual, but have a very unique fragrance. You will have a good chance to join in daily farm work as a real native people. You can also be trained to cook some local delicatessen, “Tam Huu” for example – a dish combining shrimps, pork and aromatic herbs. Enjoying your own creation will be a lovely experience. Back to your hotel in the middle afternoon the balance of day is free at your leisure. Find yourself some exquisite foods and spend your night at the hotel.

     

  • Day 10 - Hoi An - Danang - Hanoi Sightseeing (B)

    Transfer to Danang Airport for your morning flight to Hanoi. You will be greeted upon arrival at the Hanoi Airport and transferred to the city your exploration. First destination is the thousand-year-old Temple of Literature – also Vietnam’s first university. Then, , take a combined of walking/cyclo tour to explore the Hanoi’s famous 36 streets of the Old Quarter and its diversity of architecture. Take a walk around Hoan Kiem Lake – the iconic landscape of Hanoi, and then enjoy a Vietnam’s traditional water-puppetry performance. Find some excellent Vietnamese foods for your own in this colorful cuisine. Night at the hotel.

     

     

  • Day 11 - Hanoi - Duong Lam Village - Mai Chau Valley (B,L,D)

    This morning we leave Hanoi and drive westward to Duong Lam (60km - 2 hours drive). Let’s get back to the 17th century’s atmosphere when cycling through local houses, communal house – just like you’re immersing in the ancient time. Meet the local people there who still live in and keep their ancient houses as their soul. Then, visit a workshop where you can try making soya sauce by yourself. Lunch is served at a local house.

    After lunch, we take a 3-hour journey towards Mai Chau town through picturesque mountains and valleys. For several centuries the White Thai tribe has lived here in this beautiful valley. The Thais are famous for their harmonious community life and many lovely traditions having existed for a very long time. As one of the traditions they still keep until now, they live close to rice fields and streams on stilt houses made by woods and bamboos. In the late afternoon you will arrive at your home-stay (a local traditional stilt house) in Mai Chau. Free time for you to take a bath, and after that have a welcome dinner and enjoy a performance by locals of ethnic minority Muong and Thai people. Spend your night at the stilt house.

     

     

  • Day 12 - Mai Chau Valley (B,L,D)

    After having breakfast at the home-stay place, you will spend this morning for a cycling tour around the village and area. During the trip through peaceful rural sights you will see buffalos and local people working on the fields, and other daily activities. Remember to take nice photos of them to save this memory. After a short rest, we will transfer about 7km to the home of Muong People of Cun Pheo Village for a light trekking. After a short visit to Cun Pheo village, continue our trip following the big trail to Van village of Thai people, keep going through the village and rice fields until we reach the hillside to trek. Just like the previous day have dinner and overnight at the homestay-place.

     

     

  • Day 13 - Mai Chau - Hanoi (B)

    This morning we spend a few more hours to visit around the village until the middle morning. Drive about 4 hours back to Hanoi through picturesque mountains and valleys. Check in your hotel and spend your last evening to look for some traditional foods you did not try. Night at the hotel.

     

     

  • Day 14 - Hanoi Departure (B)

    Free time to explore more of charming and historcial Hanoi, before being transfered to airport for your onward flight. Room is available before noon only. Have your own meals. Our services end here.
