  • Day 1 - Ho Chi Minh City arrival (D)

    On arrival at the airport, your guide will be waiting for you to transfer to the bustling city of Ho Chi Minh (formerly called as “Saigon”) for hotel check-in. From 14.00 room is at your disposal. Take your time to rest and settle into your hotel, until transfer to one of Saigon’s best restaurants – Mandarin Restaurant – for a welcome dinner. Here feel free to explore the diverse and unique cuisine of Vietnam and while we’re discussing about details of your trip. We hope you back to the hotel for overnight with satisfaction !

     

  • Day 2 - Ho Chi Minh Sightseeing (B,D)

    You will be free at your leisure in the morning. Enjoy your relaxation at the hotel or stroll along for shopping and get your own lunch. In the afternoon, take a Vespa for a guided riding tour. Take a safe rear seat and hold your driver tight as we’re riding through the highlights of the city. Historic sites we will visit: the Saigon Old Post Office, the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Opera House. Day trip is finished at Ben Thanh market. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant. Enjoy your night at the hotel.

     

  • Day 3 - Ho Chi Minh City – Ben Tre – Cai Be (B,L)

    In the morning, drive about 2.5 to 3 hours towards Mekong Delta of Ben Tre (130km). Upon arrival at Phong Nam pier, hop a boat and cruise along a branch of the Mekong of Chet Say river. Along the trip you will explore how the local economy works, as we visit various local workplaces. The brick kilns for the first. Then you will see the marvelousness of coconut as it is so useful for local people’s daily life. Visit a charcoal factory to see workers put coconut shell into high heat kilns to produce coconut charcoal. Our next destination is a coconut processing workshop. Sample fresh coconut while discovering how they turn every single part of this versatile nut into food and other products.

    Afterwards, cruise through the small canals to have a clearer picture of the local life. Take a short walk at a quiet village to fall into the real Delta village life. Stop at a mat weaving house where you will see people use a hand loom to weave straw mats and you can even give a try to weave for yourself.  Board your xe loi (a kind of motorized rickshaw) or go cycling into the village. Let yourself immerse in the peace of those farms, rice fields and vegetables before having lunch at a local house. You will be filled and pleased by such delicious local specialties as elephant-ear fish and river shrimp. Have it with some cold drinks or beers.
    After lunch, board a sampan and enjoy your time while cruising along narrow canals. Back to the pier on a boat to disembark and return to Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon. Have good meals there on your own, and overnight at the hotel.

     

  • Day 4 - Cai Be - Sa Dec - Can Tho (B,L,D)

    Starting from Cai Be pier, you will hop a lovely sampan. Spend time to get acquainted with your crews and talk to them about things you want to know. Our first destination will be some local home factories. Here you will have chances  to see locals make coconut candies , rice paste and other specialties in a traditional way.


    Accessing the colorful floating market of Cai Be, you will see so many barges full of vegetables and fruits keep going up and down the Tien Giang River's flow. Then keep cruising towards Vinh Long and Sa Dec , upstream on one of the two large arms of the Mekong. So many islands perching among the Mekong River and they're the reason for such a large and very complicated networks of serpentine rivers, criss-crossed with uncountable arroyos, and this landscape is still not well-known at all. Then continue our trip on a small beautiful canal through water green and rich plantations..


    Good bye to the sampan, you will have another cruise on a small local rowing boat towards Sa Dec town – a little “Venice” of Mekong Delta. Following your boat along a narrow canal, you will pass by fruit plantations and a local tiny village before entering one of the various narrow canals of Sa Dec. Temporarily leave your boat at the local marketplace to take part in another very interesting exploration of this charming town. Back to the old time when walking through numerous of graceful Chinese temples and French old houses built along narrow streets in the 20th century. Take a visit to an ancient house. Dating back to 1890, this house once belong to Ong. Huyen Thuy Le, the “Lover” of Marguerite Duras famous novelist.


    Afterwards, hop on your sampan again for your continuous cruise towards Can Tho. Enjoy your lunch while cruising along a beautiful narrow canal and have a glimpse at tiny typical villages and several wooden “monkey bridges” as we pass under. It will also be possible to stop en route a several times to establish contacts with the locals, and for a visit to Cao Daist temple. In the late afternoon, stop the last time in the day to disembark at “Nha Co” – an elegant ancient house dating from the early 19th century – and be welcome by the owners. Prepare for an memorable experience recording an enchanted dinner with candlelight in an unique atmosphere. After dinner, take an 1-hour cruise towards Can Tho. We will moor in a quiet place, so you can enjoy your first night on the Mekong river at its best.

     

  • Day 5 - Can Tho - Phu Quoc (B)

    Depart at around 6.00am. Enjoy your breakfast on board while cruising slowly and at around 7.00am, we will access the largest floating market in the whole Mekong Delta – Cai Rang. Entering the market, you will see so many barges full of rice, fish, flowers, sand, fruits and vegetables,… keep going up and down the river's flow, making a very busy life of the market. After a visit at Can Tho local market, the last stop for your cruise journey is Ninh Kieu pier (arrive at around 10am). You will be transferred to Can Tho Airport for your flight to Phu Quoc. On arrival Phu Quoc Airport, transfer by hotel shuttle bus to hotel. Have your own meals and enjoy your night at the hotel.

     

  • Day 6 - Phu Quoc Island Beach Break (B) - No car, No Guide

    Spend the whole day free at your leisure to enjoy the beach. Have your own meals and enjoy your night at the hotel.

     

  • Day 7 - Phu Quoc Island Beach Break (B) - No car, No Guide

    Spend the whole day free at your leisure to enjoy the beach. Have your own meals and enjoy your night at the hotel.

     

  • Day 8 - Phu Quoc Island - Ho Chi Minh City Departure (B)

    You’re free until transfer to the airport for your flight back to Ho Chi Minh City. On arrvival Ho Chi Minh Airport connect for your departure flight. Room is available before noon only. Have your own meals. Put an end to our services here.
