  • Day 1 - Hanoi Arrival (D)

    Welcome to Hanoi ! Upon your arrival at the airport,  you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel for check in. From 14.00 room is at your disposal. Take your time to rest, before enjoying a comfortable body massage. In the evening, move to one of the best local restaurant for your welcome dinner. Here feel free to explore the diverse and unique cuisine of Vietnam and while we’re discussing about details of your trip. We hope you back to the hotel for overnight with satisfaction !

     

  • Day 2 - Hanoi - Ky Son - Moon Garden Homestay (B,L,D)

    After having breakfast at hotel, transfer 65km away from Hanoi to Ky Son village. Around 10.00AM you will arrive at Moon Garden Home stay in Ky Son village. Welcome drink with local fresh green tea. Then take your time to discover Moon Garden Home stay and Ky Son village on your own pace (kindergarten, local market). A cooking class is arranged right after that to join in and have lunch later.

    We have several interesting activities to take part in. First, enjoy Hand Spa – as you have the traditional herbal hand massage while dipping your hand in a sweet-smell lime bowl. Take your time after the massage to relax or learn more about local snacks, cultures, and traditional customs by chatting with the host family. In case you would like to learn Vietnamese, one of the family members will delightly teach you. At around 15.00, you will take a bike ride with 2 options for you to choose : short ride (6 km) or long ride (12 km):

    Short ride: Ky Son, Van Minh, Tam Son, and Cham farming communities are included. You can have a cup of tea at any houses you want. Other activities include visiting the kindergarten (if open), make conversations with some locals to learn more about their daily life and farming, or even join in the harvest process of seasonal products : rice, potatoes, corn, cassava,… , or other farm works like transplanting seedlings, plowing or making rice beds,..

    Long ride: A guided cycling tour offers further distance and more interesting destinations including : Ky Son, Van Minh, Tam Son, and Cham farming communities, Duong Lam ancient village with Mong Phu Communal House and Mia Pagoda, ... On the way back, ride along the ritual paths of Thang thac village where lies Phung Hung temple and the Ngo Quyen tomb. All are worth to come discover.

    Beautiful moments are waiting for you this evening when return to the Moon Garden.  You will have a pleasant steam bath, but we’re afraid you forget about it after enjoying local drinks and some local seasonal products ( sweet potato, peanuts, maize, cassava, …) or some traditional desserts while waiting. Enjoy your dinner and then take a short break before having a foot bath. Before bedtime, immersing your foot in warm water with salt, ginger, and mugwort medicinal herbs really makes you sleep better and deeper.

     

  • Day 3 - Ky Son Village - Hanoi half day City (B)

    Rise up early this morning for Yijinjing traditional exercises. After breakfast, you are free to enjoy your relaxation on the hammock in our garden, or walk around to chat with those you meet, try getting on some Vietnamese traditional clothes to take pictures, or discover more of the Ky Son village and the vicinity on your own pace.

    When time’s appropriate, return to Hanoi for a half day tour of the capital city. Pay visits to the thousand-year-old Temple of Literature – also Vietnam’s first university. Then, stroll along the famous Hanoi’s Old Quarter and take an electric car tour around Hoan Kiem Lake and many streets. Enjoy interesting moments on your private car.
    Find nice restaurants around for your own meals. Spend your night at the hotel.

     

  • Day 4 - Hanoi - Halong Bay (B,L,D)

    Departure for Halong Bay (180km – 3.5 - 4 hour driving) to see a  fabulous World Heritage site recognized by UNESCO. More than 3,000 islands of towering limestone with different fantastic shapes, dotting the bay and Gulf of Tonkin. Board a beautiful boat when you arrive at noon and have an overnight cruise on Halong Bay. Fresh seafood, which is one of factors to make Ha Long Bay famous, will be served for your lunch and dinner right on the boat. Have a good night on board !

     

  • Day 5 - Halong Bay (B,L,D)

    Spend more time this morning to explore the spectacular Halong Bay and some interesting activities will be included. Enjoy unforgettable experiences of kayaking, swimming, fishing, having sun bath or visiting floating villages. Enjoy lunch and dinner on boat. Overnight on board. 

     

  • Day 6 - Halong Bay - Hai Phong - Danang - Hoi An (B)

    Early morning is the best moment to enjoy the aquamarine water of the bay. Wake up early and after a tea break, we take a quiet cruise through amazing caves and strangely shaped islands hidden in the fog of the bay. In the late morning, back to Halong harbour and disembark, then after a brunch we will drive 2 hours (70km) Cat Bi Airport in Hai Phong for your flight to Danang. On arrival in Danang city, our guide will transfer you to your hotel in Hoi An Town (30km - 45mins driving) for check in. Discover this unique cuisine here on your own. Night at the hotel.

     

  • Day 7 - Hoi An biking tour and sightseeing (B)

    This morning we board a local boat in a pier in Hoi An heading to Cam Kim island. You will reach the village of Kim Bong for the first, and then learn the art of sculpting, taught by M.Huynh Suong, a famous sculpting artist, right at his workshop. Have 13-km bike ride after that to visit the mat weaving village of Duy Vinh and enjoy beautiful landscapes of bamboo fields, rice fields, and shaded paths along the way. Upon arrival in the village, you will have chances to observe their detailed work steps and discover traditional and special skills of weaving mat passing from generation to generation. After that, continue our trip towards the fishing village of Duy Vinh, crossing a small dam. Finish this morning tour when back to the boat and return to Hoi An for your own lunch.

    After time for a short rest, take a stroll along Hoi An town, to understand why this town is recognized  as a World Heritage site by UNESCO, to feel the marvel that every other visitors felt when they look at all those unusually well-preserved ancient streets and homes. More than two-century-old Chinese houses that you can explore while walking through the quaint cobblestone streets of the town. The Chinese Temple, Japanese Bridge and Phung Hung Chinese-style trading house are also the places that should not be ignored. Have your own exploration at this cuisine for dinner. Night at the hotel.

     

  • Day 8 - Hoi An - Danang - Ho Chi Minh - Vespa tour in the evening (B,D)

    At good time transfer to Danang Airport for an 1 hour flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Our local driver will pick you up at the airport and drive to the city for hotel check in.

    Free at your leisure, until evening when you will join in a great night excursion, also an adventure of street local foods. Sitting at the back of a vintage Vespa scooter, you will experience to be a real Saigonian, by playing the same ways they do. Along the trip we’ll stop for drinks at a cafe, at a local restaurant for seafood and another for Southern food, samplings of Saigon best authentic street local food, a Vietnamese-style live-music coffee shop. Finish our trip at one of the many local nightclubs (with live music). You will see how the new generation of Vietnamese shows off their unique style. Experience the night life on the pillion behind your driver throughout the trip.. 

     

  • Day 9 - Ho Chi Minh cooking class - sightseeing (B,L)

    You will spend your morning to explore the secret of cuisine of Ho Chi Minh City – one of the "culinary highlights" in Vietnam, by joining in a cooking class. First, of course we have to prepare for ingredients. Select yourself fresh and lush ones as we take a stroll to the market. It is also an opportunity for you to experience Vietnamese people’s  daily life. When we have enough ingredients, the chef will assist you in learning how to cook some local dishes. What you have just made are also for your lunch. Taste them and make a comparation to some additional dishes prepared by the cooks. It will be a really lovely experience. Afternoon is for some of the city’s the historic sites including Notre Dame Cathedral, the former Saigon Post Office and the Opera House, Cho Lon and Thien Hau Pagoda.

    Afterwards, a special visit to the home of a music-lover family will be arranged. The husband and wife you will meet are both musicians. They have spent their whole life for the love with traditional, folkloric Vietnamese music, and are celebrated international performers. They have an extensive collection of musical instruments, many of which they made themselves, full-filling their home, that turns it into a musical museum. We’re sure you will love thier exciting performance and gracious hospitality.

    Another option of visting Truc Mai house: In the evening, you will spend time to watch an 1-hour A O Show. That show, commonly acknowledged globally as new circus, is a new kind of art performance. There hasn't been any of other art shows in Vietnam over the years that surpassed their own constructed limits, but this one has. This show will be arranged depending on schedule each day.

     

  • Day 10 - Ho Chi Minh City – Ben Tre – Cai Be (B,L)

    In the morning, drive about 2.5 to 3 hours towards Mekong Delta of Ben Tre (130km). Upon arrival at Phong Nam pier, hop a boat and cruise along a branch of the Mekong of Chet Say river. Along the trip you will explore how the local economy works, as we visit various local workplaces. The brick kilns for the first. Then you will see the marvelousness of coconut as it is so useful for local people’s daily life. Visit a charcoal factory to see workers put coconut shell into high heat kilns to produce coconut charcoal. Our next destination is a coconut processing workshop. Sample fresh coconut while discovering how they turn every single part of this versatile nut into food and other products.

    Afterwards, cruise through the small canals to have a clearer picture of the local life. Take a short walk at a quiet village to fall into the real Delta village life. Stop at a mat weaving house where you will see people use a hand loom to weave straw mats and you can even give a try to weave for yourself.  Board your xe loi (a kind of motorized rickshaw) or go cycling into the village. Let yourself immerse in the peace of those farms, rice fields and vegetables before having lunch at a local house. You will be filled and pleased by such delicious local specialties as elephant-ear fish and river shrimp. Have it with some cold drinks or beers.

    After lunch, board a sampan and enjoy your time while cruising along narrow canals. Finish the day when we transfer to your resort in Cai Be. Have a good dinner there on your own, and overnight at the hotel.

     

  • Day 11 - Mekong Delta - Ho Chi Minh Departure (B)

    Wake up early in the morning to visit the Cai Be Floating Market. Take this chance to have a direct look at the Mekong Delta’s wholesale trade of local produce. Afterwards, take a visit to a village of traditional craft. Upon visiting an interesting workshop, you will observe how local specialty candies are made such as: honey, coconut candy, pop-corn, pop-rice and rice paper,..  while green tea and sweets are being served. Back to the boat and return to your resort. Free for the rest of time until we transfer to Ho Chi Minh City Airport for your onward flight. You have your room available before noon only. Have your own last meals. Our services end here.
