Not only these temples, this tour also offers you memorable experiences of swimming in the waterfall or watching ethnic fashion show.

  • Day 1 - Arrival Luang Prabang

    Welcome to Luang Prabang – the ancient capital city of the Lane Xang kingdom ! In 1995, this city was officially recognized to be a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, thanks to its huge collection of monasteries, monuments and cultural and historic significance. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel to check in. Rooms is available from 1.30pm onward. You have the rest of day free to do whatever you like. Enjoy first meals here on your own. Overnight at the hotel. 


  • Day 2 - Luang Prabang (B)

    Spend your day to have the first look of Luang Prabang, situated on the left bank of the Mekong River. Used to be a religious capital, Luang Prabang has more than 100 beautiful temples. Specifically, you will discover:

    Vat Xieng Thong – the city’s finest temple which contains numerous blessed buildings.

    Vat May – dating back to the end of the 18th century, a capped sanctuary featuring a five sided roof topped by three parasols.

    Vat Visoun – the city’s most ancient temple with wooden windows designed under influences of the Vat Phou’s Khmer temple.

    Vat Aham – Vat Visoun’s neighbor, set in frame by two large Banyan trees

    Vat Senna - the first monastery with yellow and red tiles covering its roof.

    At the end of the trip, you will enjoy the magnificient view of sunset on Mount Phousi Mount then discover the H’mong Night Market. Have meals by your self. Overnight at the hotel.


  • Day 3 - Luang Prabang (B,L)

    This morning, we board a boat for a cruise along the Mekong River. Take a visit to the holy caves of Pak Ou, protecting hundreds of Buddha statuettes. After lunch at a local restaurant, return to Luang Prabang for another trip towards Khuang Sy Waterfall, passing through rice fields and local villages. If weather permits, you can have a swim in the waterfalls before transferring back to Luang Prabang. Evening time is for the ethnic fashion show at Hive Bar (you can have your own expense dinner here). Spend your night at the hotel.

    Remark:  Option: Tak Bat - Luang Prabang locals’ morning ceremony

    Rise up early in the morning at around 5.30 to 6.30am, then departure for to Vat Nong temple to observe the Tak Bat ceremony (procession of monks). During the ceremony, locals stand on the sidewalk carrying foods in their arms in order to offer them to the walking-by monks wearing orange robes. You’ll be in awe of culturally momentous scenes as they take place in a peaceful and respectful ambiance and there will be total silence among the monks and locals. You have to make sure to wear suitable clothes (not too revealing) and photos should be taken from a distance to show your respect.


  • Day 4 - Luang Prabang Departure (B)

    You’re free before we transfer to the Airport where your onward flight is waiting. Room is available before noon time only. Meals on your own. Our services end here.
