  • Day 1 - Arrive Hanoi

    You will be greeted at the airtport and transferred to the city for  hotel checkin. From 1.30 pm room is available. You have the rest of the day free at your leisure. Choose for yourself a delicious local dish, and back to your hotel for overnight.

     

  • Day 2 - Hanoi City - Night Train to Lao Cai (B)

    Rise up early in the morning to walk through the very famous market of Hang Be. It is well-known for the diversity of goods and eye catching displays. This is a perfect chance to take memorable photos of the local’s daily life and the sights around.
    After that you will visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum for the first (closed on Monday and Friday), his traditional stilt house and the revered One-Pillar Pagoda  along the trip. The next destination is the thousand-year-old Temple of Literature – also Vietnam’s first university. After lunch, have a visit to the Ethnology Museum (closed on Monday) where you can explore the diverse and unique cultures of the 54-ethnic Vietnam. A typically traditional Hanoi pagoda will be our last destination here. Right after having your own dinner transfer to Hanoi Railway Station for your night train to Lao Cai. Your night will be spent on the train in an 4-person contained cabin with air.

     

  • Day 3 - Lao Cai - Bac Ha Market - Sapa (B,L)

    You will arrive at Lao Cai at around 6.00 am and enjoy breakfast in a local restaurant. Afterwards you will take the beautiful and winding mountain road to Bac Ha (3 hours driving). Here you will visit Bac Ha Market. This wonderful market is a great place for photos and shopping. You will have chance to meet different groups of ethnic people at the market. After visiting the market take a walk on small paths through the surrounding nearby villages and then drive to Sapa for overnight. Dinner on your own. Overnight at hotel.


    Remark: Bac Ha Market is held only on Sundays. Other markets are held in the region on some other days of the week: Can Cau Market is every Saturday morning and the Coc Ly Market every Tuesday. Your exact itinerary does depend on the day of the week you arrive.

     

  • Day 4 - Sapa - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van - Sapa (B,L)

    This trip commences with a short walk through the town of Sapa before turning on a footpath running through vegetable gardens. You then descend down the valley on a dirt trail through rice paddy terraces, enjoying and take the chance to capture the spectacular scenery on the way. Once reaching the narrow river running on the bottom of the valley, you will walk along its bank for a while and eventually arrive at Y Linh Ho village of Black H’mong minority. Here you take a rest and have lunch nearby the river. After lunch, the walk takes you deeper into Muong Hoa valley. You will pass through Lao Chai village of Black H’mong minority and then Ta Van village of Giay minority by following a popular trekking route. At Ta Van, you walk up to the main road and have a transfer back to Sapa. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

     

  • Day 5 - Sapa – Heavens Gate – Tam Duong - Lao Cai - Night train to Hanoi (B,L)

    In the morning, drive uphill towards Heavens Gate. It’s possible to stop en route to walk for a while to visit Silver Waterfall, before continue our drive with a spectacular view of mountain surroundings. You can even see Fansipan, the rooftop of Indochina. The forward path towards Tam Duong is one of the most beautiful stretch of roads in Vietnam.Once reaching Tam Duong, you will meet the black Dao, the real black Dao doing their daily activities, when they’re trading in the town’s small market in their black traditional dresses. The unique culture and also beautiful landscapes of this region will be perfect for your album.  

    After lunch, return to Sapa, stop en route to visit some villages of minorities. The first is Na Hum villages of the Black Thai. This view of where their live is really picturesque, with traditional stilt houses dotting amongst rice terraces stretching along the spectacular valleys.. The last visit before you arrive back to Sapa is to Chu Va village of Flower H’mong and having a nice experience of Take a visit to Bo village of Lu minority. You will observe their familiar activity of weaving cloths for themselves and for their family. Capture lovely moments of the children playing curiously around in their very colourful custom. Departure for Lao Cai train station. Have your own dinner, and get on a night train back to Hanoi . Spend the night on the train in an 4-person contained cabin with air conditioners and soft sleeper berth.

     

  • Day 6 - Hanoi - Halong Bay (B,L,D)

    In the early morning, arrive Ha Noi and have breakfast and a refreshment in a 3 star hotel. After that, drive 3.5 to 4 hours to Ha Long Bay (180km), to see a  fabulous World Heritage site recognized by UNESCO. You will have many opportunities to take pictures of more than 3,000 islands of towering limestone with different fantastic shapes, dotting the bay and Gulf of Tonkin. Board a beautiful boat when you arrive and have an overnight cruise on Halong Bay Fresh seafood, which is one of factors to make Ha Long Bay famous, will be served for your lunch and dinner right on the boat. Have a good night on board !

     

  • Day 7 - Halong Bay (B,L,D)

    Wake up early this morning to enjoy the spectacular views of the bay. Capture picturesque landscapes shined by early light while having a cup of tea or coffee. Most time of the day will be spent for interesting activities such as swimming, kayaking, visiting the floating village by a rustic rowing boat. Remember to take really satisfactory pictures of beautiful and unique islands, perched lonely in this isolated bay. Have lunch and dinner on boat. Overnight on board.

     

  • Day 8 - Halong Bay - Hai Phong - Danang - Hoi An (B)

    Early morning is the best moment to enjoy the aquamarine water of the bay. Wake up early and after a tea break, we take a quiet cruise through amazing caves and strangely shaped islands hidden in the fog of the bay. In the late morning. back to the Ha Long harbour and right after that drive 2 hours to Cat Bi Airport in Haiphong (70km) for your flight to Danang. If time is available, visit at colonial port city of Hai Phong for a while. You will be welcome at Da Nang Airport and spend 2 more hours to drive to your hotel in Hoi An (30km) for check in. Have your own meals in this unique cuisine. Night at the hotel.

     

  • Day 9 - Hoi An Town - My Son Holy Land (B)

    Wake up early to have a cruise trip along the Thu Bon River towards Hoi An’s beach. There you will see the fishermen lift up their fishing nets – their daily activities. Have breakfast when back to the hotel and then drive to My Son – the most important Cham archaeological site in the center of Vietnam. Back to Hoi An town for your own lunch.

    Spend your afternoon to stroll along Hoi An town, to understand why this town is recognized  as a World Heritage site by UNESCO, to feel the marvel that every other visitors felt when they look at all those unusually well-preserved ancient streets and homes. More than two-century-old Chinese houses that you can explore while walking through the quaint cobblestone streets of the town You cannot either ignore the Chinese Temple, Japanese Bridge and Phung Hung Chinese-style trading house.  Have a good dinner in the colorful and plentiful culinary world, one of the most attractive thing of Hoi An. Hope you get back to overnight at the hotel with satisfaction and a lot of nice pictures of the town and the people here.
     

     

  • Day 10 - Hoi An - Danang - Hue (B)

    Transferring to Hue in the morning, there are many chances take photos along the way. Upon arrival in Danang City, take a  visit to Marble Mountain - a cluster of five marble mountains lying nearby the seashore. Then transfer to the beautiful peninsula of Son Tra, attracting people for its fabulous landscapes of long, white sandy beaches, primeval forests, and the Vietnam‘s tallest standing Buddha statue. Reaching the top of the mountain, you will have a fantastic view onto Danang City, Marble Mountain and Ba Na Mountain. Afterwards, move to Hue acrossing the Hai Van Pass, which is also a great scenic. From the pass, it is the perfect point for you to look out over and capture amazing pictures of the central coastline – an excellent panoramas in Vietnam. On arrival in Hue in the late afternoon, check in your hotel and you will be free to visit Hue on your own pace. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

     

  • Day 11 - Hue Sightseeing - Ho Chi Minh City (B,L)

    The first destination this morning is Hue’s famous Imperial Citadel. Next, take a cruise on the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda, located right on its bank. From here you can capture nice pictures of the city and the river. Finish the morning trip with discovering Vietnamese rules of geomancy, as we visit a typical garden house built exactly according to these rules. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere this place brings to you, and have lunch at one of those lovely garden houses.
    After lunch, visit Tomb of Tu Duc - one of the most beautiful tombs in Hue. Transfer by private vehicle to Thanh Tien Village to wrap up the day. It’s possible upon your wish to hold our steps for a few minutes to capture typical moments of local life and beautiful landscapes (French cows, churches…). Look around those pagodas and churches, those ancient villages, as well as rivers covered with lotus flowers (depend on weather conditions ) .... to enjoy a real and peaceful beauty of Hue countryside. Along the Perfume River there lies Thanh Tien village. Dating back to 400 years ago, this village has been well-known for its traditional handcraft production of paper flowers. Take pictures of their work and if you want, a craftsman will help you make your own creation of flowers.

    In the evening, transfer to airport for your short flight to Ho Chi Minh city. Welcome and transferred to the hotel by our guide. Have your own dinner. Night at the hotel.

     

  • Day 12 - Cu Chi Tunnels - Ho Chi Minh City (B)

    Leave the city in the morning to visit Cu Chi Tunnels. Vietnamese soldiers, and even people of all ages, together built that incredible tunnel network during the intense war against America. Back to Ho Chi Minh City before noon.

    After your own lunch, take photos of excellent architecture including: Main Post Office, Reunification Palace and Notre Dame Cathedral. Finish your day trip by a visit to the Ben Thanh market. Have your own dinner in this colorful cuisine, and spend your night at the hotel. 

     

  • Day 13 - Ho Chi Minh City – Cai Thia – Can Tho (B,L)

    In the morning, drive about 2.5 hours to Cai Thia Canal in Cai Be District. This is the starting point for your amazing excursion into deep Mekong Delta area, an excursion for photo lovers with full of great and exceptional opportunities. Then you will have chances to take part in many local’s familiar activities : crossing small canals and rivers on local ferries, take an 1 hour bike ride passing by local market, local church,a brick kiln, lush orchard gardens… on small lanes. Through those activities we hope you would have a great experience of the daily rhythm of life as well as of the peaceful atmosphere here.
    Along the trip, hold you steps at a local house to sample recent season’s unique fruits along with tea and honey (and local wine, as well). In the late morning, transfer by a boat to another local house for your pleasant lunch. When lunch time’s over, take a rowing boat trip along the small Cay Da canal and and go further to explore more about this area. At around 3.30pm, transfer to Can Tho for hotel check-in. Have your own dinner and overnight at the hotel.

     

  • Day 14 - Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh City Departure (B)

    From your hotel, transfer to Ninh Kieu Quay to board onto a traditional local boat and head to the lively, colorful floating markets of Cai Rang. The great diversity of products sold at the market will absolutely surprise you at the moment you come. You will not possible to take your eyes off the huge variety of fruits, from the familiar ones like bananas and mangos, to the strangest ones like the sweetened longans, the very fragrant durians or mangosteens and star apples. This is your perfect chance to take beautiful photos of the real life here. After the fruity flavors of the market have served you well, access the labyrinth of the channels and streams surrounding Can Tho. From the boat it will be very suitable to observe local’s daily life on the river, even to see children swimming. At 10.30am, transfer to Ho Chi Minh Airport on private vehicle for your onward flight. If time permits, go have some coffee or a walk around the streets of the center. Enjoy your own last meals.
