  • Day 1 - Siem Reap arrival - Rolous Temple (D)

    You will be greeted at the airport and transferred to the city for hotel check in. From 1.30 pm onward room is at your disposal. After lunch and your relaxation, discover the Roluos group of temples – one of the most ancient sites of the region. At the begining, pay visits to the impressive Bakong Temple (by cycling possibly upon your wish), dating back to 9th century. Keep following your guide to Preah Ko and Lolei (today it is a small monastery). Afterwards take a stroll along the countryside and stop to enjoy aperitif with some canape, then return to the hotel. Dinner is served at a nice local restaurant. Night at the hotel.

     

  • Day 2 - Angkor Wat - Ta Prohm (B,L)

    Our guide will wait for you at your hotel reception to transfer you to the very famous world heritage site of Angkor Wat. Built up in the 12th century (1112-1152) in honour of Vishnu, with incredible bas reliefs and soaring towers, Angkor Wat is known as one of the most amazing monuments made by mankind in the world. From the temple, take an off the beaten track journey by private vehicle (or by cow carts upon your wish) to a remote an unwell-known temple and enjoy a delicious private picnic lunch.

    Finish your remarkable lunch with a relaxing soothing foot massage under the trees. Spend your afternoon to discover splendid sculptured Devatas and immerse in the unique atmosphere in the ancient Ta Prohm Monastery. This site has a nickname of "Jungle Temple", because of its immense branches having taken root in the stones. The atmosphere completely befits this temple and those built during the reign of Jayavarman VII in general. You’re free in the evening and take this chance to find some excellent local foods for your own dinner. Spend your night at the hotel.

     

  • Day 3 - Banteay Srei - East Mebon - Pre Rup - Angkor Thom (B,L)

    In the morning, start our day trip towards Banteay Srei – a charming small pink temple. Dating back to 10th century and still known as the Citadel of Women, this temple owns a most impressive jewel of Khmer art. Some amazingly well conserved sculptured lintels are still housed here. In 1923, Andre Malraux returned the Apsara heads that he had removed before and since then they’ve become famous. Upon arrival back in Angkor Park area, pay visits to Mebon Oriental temple, built originally on the food growing island on the Roluos River. The next destination is the temple of Pre Rup. Dating back to the 10th century, the only purpose of it was to be the state temple of King Râjendravarman. Stop for a short visit at Srah Srang (also known as ‘The Baths’).  

    After lunch (your expense)  and relaxation, continue our trip by visiting the Great City of Angkor Thom.  Your afternoon begins with the south gate and the famous Bayon temple. Dating back to the 12th and 13th centuries, the Bayon is dedicated to Buddhism and composed of 216 smiling faces of Avalokitesvara on 54 gigantic towers. Afterwards, pay visits to the Terrace of the Elephants. With 350m in length, in the past, it was served as a base for the king’s grand audience hall and used as a gigantic reviewing stand in occasion of public ceremonies. Then come explore the Terrace of Leper King, dating back the 12th century, on which many beautiful Apsaras was sculptured. Dinner will be served in countryside style amongst peaceful atmosphere of beautiful rice fields. Overnight at the hotel.

     

  • Day 4 - The Great Lake: Tonle Sap (B)

    From a pier in Chong Khneas, start our trip on a nice boat towards Prek Toal. You will experience hospitable communities of the floating villages. Champagne with some snack will be served while cruising. After a picnic lunch on boat, transfer back to your hotel in Siem Reap early in the middle afternoon, and the balance of day is free for you to do whatever you want on your own pace. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

     

  • Day 5 - Siem Reap - Phnom Penh. Sightseeing (B,D)

    You’re free at your leisure to visit Old Centre Market or spend time at hotel’s pool, until transfer to airport for a short flight to Phnom Penh. Your local guide will be waiting for you at the airport and transfer you the city for hotel check in. Take your time to settle at the hotel, and then take a discovery of the recent capital city of Phnom Penh, located right at the confluence of the four arms of the Mekong.

    Take a visit to the Royal Palace, built up by King Norodom  in 1866. So many different structures are grouped together just in the space of the palace, creating an extraordinary collection of Khmer art. One of the highlights is Silver Pagoda, with remarkable works including a 90-kilogram golden Buddha encrusted with 9584 diamonds, Baccarat crystal conceived in the 17th century and a Buddha featuring emeralds. Keep travelling towards the south of the city and visit the Tuol Sleng genocide museum, you will have the closest and most authentic look of the Khmer Rouge regime - the darkest and forgettable period of Cambodia’s history. Visit a former secondary school, which was transformed into a detention centre  under the Khmer Rouge. Behind the gates with the famous name ‘S21’, thousands of residents and soldiers were detained, tortured and wasted their life here. Dinner is served at Malis – a familiar restaurant designed with a combined style of contemporary and Khmer traditional items

    + When we visit the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda our guides are unauthorized to lead, so guides on site will be the ones to do .

    + In case the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda are closed without notice (only sometimes for official ceremonies), we will rearrange the visit with another if possible.

     

  • Day 6 - Phnom Penh sightseeing (B)

    Spend your day with a " Khmer Architecture Tour" by cyclo. Resulting for an extensive construction program, the late 1950s and 1960s was a period of Cambodia’s dynamic political and cultural ambition. That time’s new architecture, which focused on creating the combined of local traditions, climate and materials with an international style, reflected exactly the Cambodian’s bird’s-eye views of cultural and social. The “Khmer Architecture Tour” offers exploration to central Phnom Penh and some colonial buildings, as well as modern architecture of post-independence time, making it a unique ride through the “New Khmer Architecture”. Your guide will present about history for a while, and then you will stroll around the Post Office to discover surrounding districts. On the way heading to the Central Market (closed on public holidays), you will pass by some famous buildings, as well as some less clear examples of religious architecture. Upon arrival at your hotel in the late morning, you are free for rest of day. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

     

  • Day 7 - Phnom Penh - Sihanoukville - Song Sa Private Island (B,D)

    Transfer a long distance of 230km to the seaside resort of Sihanoukville via a beautiful road through markets, villages and pineapple fields. Once reaching Sihanoukville, take a 30-minute trip on a speed boat to the unique Song Saa Private Island. The rest of day is free at your leisure to spend time on the beach or at your resort. Lunch is not included, but  dinner is served at the resort. Overnight at the resort.

     

  • Day 8 - Free day at Song Saa (B,L,D)

    Take your time at the charming resort of Song Saa to relax and enjoy yourself. Meals at the resort. Overnight at the resort. 

     

  • Day 9 - Free day at Song Saa (B,L,D)

    Take your time at the charming resort of Song Saa to relax and enjoy yourself on pure white sand beaches. Meals at the resort. Overnight at the resort. 

     

  • Day 10 - Song Saa Private Island - Sihanoukville - Phnom Penh. Departure (B)

    Leverage your last free time here, before we transfer back to Sihanoukvilleon another speed boat. Return to Sihanoukville Airport by shuttle bus for flight back to Siem Reap or Phnom Penh. Afterwards, connect your onward flight. Meals on your own. Our services end here.

    Remark: The flight Sihanoukville - Phnom Penh is a transit one so please check with your sale concern flight schedule.
